Special Services / Dietary Needs

SUNY Downstate strives to be accessible, inclusive, and diverse in our facilities, programming, and academic offerings. Your experience in this event is important to us. If you have a disability, require communication access services for the deaf or hard of hearing, or believe that you need a reasonable accommodation for another reason, please contact the Office of CME at least 3 weeks prior to the event to discuss your needs.  For in-person meetings with meals, we will work to accommodate dietary requests (including, but not limited to, kosher, vegetarian, low cholesterol, and low sodium) received in writing at least three weeks before the start of the conference.  Please contact us at ocme@downstate.edu

Substitution/Cancellations
Substitutions may be made at any time without an additional charge. Refunds will be issued for all cancellations received two weeks before the start of the conference. Should cancellation occur less than two weeks prior, a credit towards another course will be issued, not a refund. An administrative fee will be charged for all refunds and credits. (Administrative fees vary based on the conference. Please see the specific conference registration page for the correct cost.) “No shows” are subject to the full conference fee. Cancellations/substitutions must be made IN WRITING. No refunds or credits will be issued once the conference has started. This conference is subject to change and/or cancellation.

Disclosure Policy
The Office of CME policy requires faculty to disclose to program participants any real or apparent conflict of interest. Faculty are also asked to disclose any discussion pertaining to the unapproved use of pharmaceuticals and devices.  Please contact us at ocme@downstate.edu with any issues.
